What qualities do Trader Media Group look for?
As well as the essential skills and qualifications required for each role, we also look for talented, passionate, driven individuals with the potential to grow and develop their careers at Trader Media Group.

What is the recruitment process at Trader Media Group?
Once your application has been received, it will be reviewed and you will be advised of the outcome. If you are shortlisted, details of the next stage will be explained to you. This could include a telephone interview, a competency-based interview, an assessment centre, delivering a presentation, doing a role play or undergoing psychometric tests.

Is there a limit to the number of jobs I can apply for?
No; however, you will be required to complete an application for each role.

Can I withdraw from an application if I change my mind?
Yes. If you email us at [email protected] with the job title and vacancy number of the role that you want to withdraw from, we will remove your application. You will still be registered on our database.

How do I cancel my account?
Simply log in to your account and cancel any job alerts you have set up. Email [email protected] and we will make sure your account is cancelled.

What opportunities are there for career progression?
We encourage career development and progression at TMG and there are great opportunities within the company. Many of our roles are filled by internal applicants developing their career with us.

Will TMG be taking up employment references?
We do take up a number of pre-employment checks. The checks may vary depending on the role you have applied for but will include current/previous employment, residency, right to work and financial probity. More details will be provided at interview stage.

What training will I get?
Ongoing development and personal development plans are tailored to each person and will vary depending on the role and business area. Induction programmes are arranged to help you settle in and get up to speed. For sales roles you will be fully trained on our sales approach, products, systems and processes.

Where might I be located?
We have a number of offices across the UK and also have remote workers. Locations will be specifically against each role advertised.

I have a disability. Is this a problem?
Not at all. All candidates are treated equally and will be assessed against the criteria and competencies required for the role. It is helpful if you notify us in advance whether we need to make any special arrangements for the interview process.

If my application is unsuccessful, can I request feedback?
Yes, all interviewed candidates can request feedback.

Can I register my CV so that you can let me know when a suitable job comes up?
Yes, you are able to register your CV on our careers website. You can also register to receive job alerts so you will automatically receive notification of any vacancies that match your requirements.

Do I need a work permit to apply?
Yes, all applicants must have the right to work in the UK and we will check proof of eligibility at interview stage. We are unable to apply for work permits for individual jobs until all UK and EEA employment sources have been exhausted. In exceptional circumstances, if we are unable to recruit within the UK/EEA, we will apply for work permits for hard-to-find skills or highly specialised roles.

What happens to the information I provide in my application form if I am not successful for a role with Trader Media Group?
Trader Media Group will only use the information you provide in connection with your application or for subsequent employment administration if the application is successful. Your information will not be used for any other purpose. Your application will be stored securely on our recruitment database for a period of six months.
